This
is a list of the quests available in this module, and where
to find them.
Only a brief description of each is given, however, to avoid
excessive spoilage.
Quests are given in order from first encountered to last.
PART
ONE
CONFRONTING
THE COUNCIL
Head
out to the courtyard to the north and talk to the man in front
of the carriage. He will take you to Fairloch, whereupon
you will meet with the House of Lords in the old senate building.
THE

The
two charming people just outside your office in Fort Highmarch
have a dispute that only you can settle.
If you don't complete this before leaving Fort Highmarch the

After
the plan to stop the King went awry, you awaken in the desert,
having been dead for several weeks. To finish
this quest, you have find your way into Tusone.
LEFT
FOR DEAD
Directly
west of your starting area, you will encounter a man on the
side of the road who will ask for your help.
THE
KING AND I
Talking
to King Osric of Tusone will start this quest. To finish it,
you will need to complete "The Blacksmith's Debt"
and
then return to the palace. Osric will not appear before then.
FROSTILLICUS!
When
you meet the Archmage of Myrfell in his tower, he will ask for
your help in a special task.
Some very nice rewards for this quest so don't miss it.
AGAINST
THE SYNDICATE
In
the commerce district in Myrfell, look for Charles Bodine praying
with a candle in the northwest. He will tell you of his plight.
THE
BLACKSMITH'S DEBT
Head
to Gaston's Smithy in the commerce district and talk to the
man himself to obtain this quest. It's an important one,
and you won't be able to finish the mod before completing this
quest.
PART
TWO
THE
BATTLE OF BRACKSWORTH
Head
into the command tent in the Tusonite camp and talk to the General,
that will take you through to the set-piece battle that is to
come.
THE
LOWMARCH
After
the battle, talk to the General again (he usually stays back
with the artillery) and then to Robert Black (he sometimes ends
up dead, so you might need to raise him), and they will lead
you to the Lowmarch. The entrance is in the first area to the
south of Bracksworth, in the old cave.
HIRING
AN ARMY
Once
in trinity, your aim is to hire two of the three mercenary companies
to your cause. Since two of the companies are feuding, you will
not be able to get all three. Two of te commanders are at the
Travellers Rest Inn, while the third is in his own command tent
just to the south.
BLOOD
FEUD
Either
chop off the head of Marcus, or the head of Eredel, and bring
it to the other. They can be found in the Hellfire Brigade
command tent and the Traveller's Rest Inn, respectively.

quest.
CAIRNWOOD
BURNS
You'll
find Hasrinaxx the druid in Cairnwood who will offer you this
quest, after you help him defeat a new enemy.
SAFE
FROM HARM
Upon
arriving at the village of Stoneguard, head to the Inn and speak
with Sir Gabriel. Alternatively, you can just head straight
to the Valley of Silence and start this quest, which will really
impress Sir Gabriel with your initiative.
THE
TOWER OF BLACKWOOD GLADE
Sir
Gabriel orders you to the tower of Terinus the Black to obtain
a needed piece of equipment.
THE
BATTLE OF FAIRLOCH
Head
North from Stoneguard to hitch a ride into Fairloch harbour,
then head in through the sewers to stop the Ironlord.
PART
THREE
UNFINISHED
BUSINESS
Your
first order of business - speak with Terinus and follow the
story to save Criosa and thwart King Osric.
BLACKWOOD
TOWER SERVICES
While
you are galivanting around the universe, you might like to stop
by the tower for healing and item identification.
Lucas and his wife can help you out at any time.
ASSUMPTION
One
of the heavenly planes, Assumption can offer you some powerful
aid, provided you haven't already aided their enemies in Hell.
Just keep moving along the pathway into the 2nd area, then into
the cathedral. There, you can speak with the Archangel Benedictum.
HARP
OF THE MUSE
The
muse Aiope resides in Assumption too. You'll find her in the
southeast of the first map. Just follow the sound of her voice.
Bards gain the greatest benefit from her quest, but there is
still a reward for bringing back her harp.
HELL
The
Archdevil Insidiae rules here, and you'll have to fight your
way through to him. He needs your services for a mission,
but be forewarned - doing so will cause Nellise to leave you
shortly thereafter. This is where you can pick up the
evil cleric companion, however.
THE
BORDER ETHEREAL
Another
big opportunity for aid resides here, in the form of a big shiny
dragon. But first, you'll need to aid the Archmage Cuthbeort
against a horde of Slaad, in order to get to the next area.
The dragon Xyrnamaxus has a grudge to settle with your enemies,
but also demands entertainment for her help. If you can figure
out some riddles, you'll reap some big rewards.
THINKING
OUTSIDE THE BOX
On
the weastern edge of the map, you'll find a fallen old man.
He's on the prime material plane, so you can't directly help,
but heading north to
the farm may provide the help you need from a special little
girl.
TWILIGHT
Once
you enter this map, you won't be able to leave until you complete
this section. Head into the Bastion and locate Katsumi. She'll
recruit you for an important quest.
THE
SWORD
In
the southern end of the Bastion, you'll come across Tetsuo Umezawa,
a master weaponsmith who has a quest for you, and the reward
is a special mystery prize!
THE
ETERNAL BATTLEFIELD
Once
you've taken care of everything else, you're ready to move on
to the final stages of your quest. Head into Acheron and locate
Benedictum (or Insidiae) in the 2nd area, and begin the quest
to get out of there alive.
THE
SAQARIN CITADEL
Work
your way to the top of the Citadel, activate the self-destruct
button (aren't they convienient!) and get the hell out of there
before
the place explodes. Simple!
ARMOUR
OF THE GODS
In
the southwest corner of the Citadel, located in an old armoury,
is an ancient suit of enchanted armour similar to the Ironlord.
Terinus
can repair it once you locate a few spare parts. They are all
located on that same level, and all of them are on other golems.
Once you have the pieces, "speak" to the armour with
Terinus present and you'll go through the repair sequence, giving
Terinus* some much needed protection.
*(Fun
fact: I inititally wanted the player to be able to use this
instead, but unfortunately the minogon model has limited animations.
No shield or 2nd weapon would appear if equipped, and the archery
animation didn't work either. It was a tough call to restrict
it to Terinus, but I made it work, methinks!)
